Screaming with delight and hugging one another, Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester can’t contain their excitement.
The Disney star and Gossip Girl actress were taking a break between scenes on the set of their new movie Monte Carlo.
The young actresses were obviously delighted to be in Paris, in what they must hope will be the film which makes them household names.
Excited Selena is just 17, but replaced Nicole Kidman as lead character Grace when the studio decided to make the film more youthful.
Leighton, 24, plays her future stepsister Meg while Katie Cassidy, 23, plays High School dropout Emma.
Despite her tender age Selena has been a professional actress since she was seven, starring in The Wizards Of Waverly Place and films like Spy Kids 3-D,  all aimed at a pre-teen audience. But she has yet to make the transition to mainstream movie star.
Likewise Leighton made her name in Gossip Girl, but is now attempting to move on to the big screen.

Monte Carlo is loosely based on the novel Headhunters by Jules Bass.
The three actresses play friends who pose as socialites in Monaco after Selena’s character is mistaken as a wealthy British heiress.
According to the Hollywood Reporter: ‘The story kicks into adventure mode when a million-dollar necklace goes missing and the girls must scramble to find it.’
